About Japhet Miranda, Omar Colon + Dalisamel
Japhet Miranda: Japhet was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, on January 12, 1984, and discovered his lifelong passion for music from a young age. Faced with family challenges, Japhet used music as his refuge and therapy. His heartfelt compositions climbed the charts and even opened the door to performing alongside renowned artists like Ricardo Arjona. Drawing inspiration from musical icons such as Frank Sinatra, Alejandro Sanz, and Ray Charles, Japhet crafts emotionally charged music that resonates with generations past and present, aiming to inspire his listeners in their daily lives. His standout song, "Dilo," captures the complexities of fading love and the importance of speaking one's truth.
Dalisamel Rivera Goitía (Dalisamel): Dalisamel, a gifted musician from Corozal, Puerto Rico, has left an indelible mark on her country's music scene over her two-decade-long career. Rooted in a deep connection with her culture and a profound love for Puerto Rico, Dalisamel's performances radiate authenticity. As a trailblazing female percussionist, she shattered stereotypes while leading and collaborating with diverse musical ensembles. From drumming ensembles to symphonic orchestras, Dalisamel's versatility shines through, leaving a lasting impression on all who experience her artistry.
Omar Colón: Omar's musical journey began in Morovis, Puerto Rico, where he fell in love with music at the tender age of 8. Initially a cuatro puertorriqueño player and singer in Puerto Rican trova groups, Omar later transitioned to songwriting, drawing inspiration from diverse artists like Tommy Torres, John Mayer, and Bob Marley. Despite challenges on his path, including balancing an engineering career, Omar continued to pursue his musical passion, performing in bars and venues to support himself. Today, he balances his engineering profession with his captivating music journey, enchanting audiences with heartfelt songs and distinctive melodies.
