Holly Gleason is a music critic, academic, and artist development consultant. Her work has appeared regularly in Rolling Stone, the Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Miami Herald, Musician, CREEM, Interview, Oxford American, Library of Congress’ National Registry of Sound Recordings, and NPR Music. She is the 2023 Southern California Media Awards Entertainment Journalist of the Year, 2019 Country Music Association Media Achievement Award recipient and a Western Reserve/Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Fellow. She created and contributed to Woman Walk The Line: How The Women of Country Music Changed Our Lives, the 2018 Belmont Book Award winner, co-authored Miranda Lambert’s April 2023 Y’ALL EAT YET? and curated and contributed to PRINE ON PRINE: Interviews & Encounters with John Prine. She lives in Nashville, Tennessee.

 

 

 

Four-time Grammy Award-winning singer, composer and actor Lyle Lovett has broadened the definition of American music in a career that spans 14 albums including his latest, 12th of June, which was produced by Lovett and Chuck Ainlay and released last year. Coupled with his gift for storytelling, the record further highlights Lovett’s ability to fuse elements of jazz, country, western swing, folk, gospel and blues in a convention-defying manner that breaks down barriers. Of the album, The Wall Street Journal hails, “Few artists can bring all of these moods and sounds into one place and put a personal stamp on them all; Lyle Lovett does that.” Since his self-titled debut in 1986, he has evolved into one of music’s most vibrant and iconic performers. Among his many accolades, besides four Grammy Awards, he was given the Americana Music Association’s inaugural Trailblazer Award, was named Texas State Musician and is a member of both the Texas Heritage Songwriters’ Association Hall of Fame and the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame.

 

 

Fiona Whelan Prine brings an expansive viewpoint to the American roots music community as President of Oh Boy Records, the country’s second-oldest independent record label still in operation. In that role, she oversees the multiple Grammy Award-winning recordings and publishing copyrights of her late husband, American songwriter John Prine. She also serves as Founder and President of the Hello in There Foundation and is a proud member of the Council on The Arts ( NEA) as well as music orgs like the AMA and NARAS.

Born and raised in Ireland, Fiona served as Business Manager for Windmill Lane Studios in Dublin, considered Ireland’s premiere recording studio. Fiona and John met while working there with artists such as U2, Van Morrison and many others, and they later married in Nashville, Tennessee, where together they raised their three sons.
