Visiting on a weekend?

Try starting out on Level 2 and working your way up to avoid the crowds. Don't forget Level 0 in the basement though, over half of the exhibits are down there! Check out our online exhibit guide to plan your tour!

25 or 6 to 4?

By following the arrows and escalators, you enter the museum on Level 1, start your tour downstairs on Level 0, then you'll head up to Levels 3, 4, 5, and 6, then down to 2, and finally land in the gift shop on Level 1 at the end of your tour.

The Long Run

We can’t tell you how you rock and roll, but the average visit takes about 2 hours. Most of the exhibits live on Level 0 so plan to spend most of your time there.

Ran out of time? You can apply the cost of your ticket to a membership and come back every day for a whole year! Just ask the cashiers in the gift shop and they will hook you up! Or just become a member now for express entry and first access to virtual and on-site events!

Where Did Our Love Go?

To capture the ever-evolving spirit of rock and roll, the exhibits are changed frequently, and some items are displayed on a temporary basis. Typically, exhibits are changed between January and May so we recommend that you visit in the Summer months for the full Rock Hall experience. Dates presented on this page will be updated as frequently as possible and we welcome your calls, tweets and emails if you have questions prior to visiting. Onsite, our friendly Visitor Services Representatives will guide you through any questions.
